We have a New Moon in curious and innovative Aquarius on February 2-3, 2011; inviting us to get out of our everyday groove and take a walk on the eccentric side of life. Aquarius teaches us that it is cool to be different, unique, unusual and original.  We become more open-minded to new ideas, new lifestyles, and new ways of working, living, and loving. We should be willing to stretch and grow, to think out of the box, or better yet, throw the box away.

Aquarius wants to create new solutions to our old problems.  We are being encouraged to step into uncharted territory. Necessity will drive us forward onto new and encouraging opportunities and alliances.

We will all have to make a leap and take a chance to reach our new starting points. We need to keep the faith in ourselves, each other, and in the future.

Many people will experience lucky breaks in February. Fortuna the Goddess of Abundance may smile upon you opening new doors into areas you never dreamed possible. Something wonderful is about to happen. February is the precursor for what is to come in March when everything moves forward.  Many good things are on their way to you.

This is the time to be proactive.  Uranus the ruler of Aquarius enters adventurous and assertive Aries on March 11 for about nine years.  Our hibernation will end in March so enjoy your quite time, if you have it, in February. Soon it will no longer be enough to sit and wait for life to bring us what we want. We must venture out into the world where we can meet each other, help each other and move forward as one.

It is in the fertile ground of uncertainty where the limitless possibilities live.  We can ride the powerful revolutionary wave of change to a new shore of bountiful opportunities. Aquarius shows us that we must all cross the bridge together into higher consciousness.  Making friends with change is our ally. We want to keep the faith while thriving in chaos and uncertainty.

On a global level, the “status quo” is crumbling and the elites have the most to lose as Egypt is demonstrating. Honorable leaders will replace the elites in power who are ignoring the needs and cries of their people. President Mubarak can shut down the Internet, but he cannot extinguish the flame of freedom that burns in the hearts of our young people and people everywhere. Uranus in Aries is about to ignite a worldwide revolution. Uranus also rules the Internet, Facebook and Twitter, which are the some of the tools that are driving our spiritual revolution in consciousness.

It is remarkable to note that American technology is at the heart of this uprising.  My heart goes out to the beautiful Egyptian people speaking truth to power. I pray my own government, which was born out of a revolution for freedom, would stop supporting these tyrannical leaders and dictators- just to keep the oil flowing and so-called peace in the Middle East- at the expense of the peoples’ freedom.

Uranus is about to take the lid off all governments, organizations and corporations that do not empower their people.  Egypt is happening because of Third-Dimensional reality keeping in power many obsolete governments and leaders. The truth will no longer be denied nor will the people be kept in the dark.

Everyone is becoming more psychic, whether people are self-aware of this or not.  Gaia is Ascending. All living creatures are awakening, increasing in conscious awareness; even the animals are starting to talk. For instance, there is a gorgeous dog-named Mishka on YouTube who was videotaped clearly saying:  “I love you.”*

Third Dimension reality was specifically designed for the advantage of the elites, allowing the most powerful personalities and enormous egos to dominate while suppressing the Soul, Source and the People. As a result, all of our systems, beliefs, structures and institutions are crumpling because they were built in Third Dimension reality.  For several years now, each individual has been required by Source to hit the reset button on their lives and reinvent him or herself.  Those in power are now getting the first wave of the Uranus in Aries energy that will demand they too must obey these universal requirements. You and I have been massively changing since the October’s Surprise-Stock Market Crash in 2008.  The elites too must hit the reset button on their policies, practices and structures; they must reinvent the government, organizations and corporations to operate from integrity, honor and truth that serve the rights of the people.

Government can be a great system when used to serve the highest good of the people.

The old systems are dying off and the new systems are coming into being. The new systems and structures are in the infant phase and we have to give them time to grow and strengthen. These powerful changes can make life transitional and messy for a while as we collectively move forward into higher dimension.

In Fourth-Fifth Dimension reality, the leading organizational values will be people first, then the environment, and then profit. We will not have profit at the expense of people and planet in the near future. If organizations are currently set up with a model of integrity, like many leading companies such as Google, Facebook and Twitter, they will continue to thrive, expand and enjoy handsome profits. However, those organizations that have not followed this Aquarian model, who knowingly sell harmful products to people such as tobacco, toxic foods, and so on, will decline and perish.

We will live from our hearts in Fourth-Fifth Dimension reality. All leaders will be spiritual at their core and not rule from their egos or intellects alone.

True leaders care for the souls of their people. Honorable leaders make decisions based on the highest good for all concerned.

Uranus in Aries will challenge our rigid structures, beliefs and principles most people work so hard to build.  Many folks value security and comfort at the expense of their own personal and spiritual growth.  The average life span for humankind is around seventy-five years. Did you know that the average spiritual growth for each lifetime is six-months? In other words, it takes the average person seventy-five years to spiritually advance a meager six-months.

I believe that this lack of spiritual growth among many people is the byproduct of a mass consciousness embedded in the fear of making the wrong moves and losing security, status and money. Some people have been stuck and reincarnating in the same area and relationships for centuries.  Hence, it takes an act of God to get some people out of their limiting locations. Source will use every means possible including hurricanes, tornados, earthquakes, death and decay all around us to move us forward. Whatever is leaving your life at this time let it go. I find that people who are brave in the face of fear and have the courage to start over are incredibly inspiring.

Think of all the unhappy marriages that continue only because both persons are afraid of the insecurity that breaking up world bring.  Moreover, it is this kind of rigidity that is ultimately destructive to life in its highest sense and is at the root cause of our health issues. Life was intended to be a constant, ongoing confrontation between yourself and the world, with an energy that keeps everything fresh and lively.  Some people are living a life of quiet desperation, wearing a mask of false happiness; yet all the while feeling half-alive inside. Creator would not choose this for us. This is our ego that tells us not to change, take risks or evolve.

Moreover, we cannot enter higher dimension with a closed heart. Aquarius teaches us that to move forward into higher consciousness we must open our hearts and have empathy and compassion for everyone. To become the “I AM” one has to go through many challenging and often painful experiences.  When you do what is right for you, it is right for everyone else. When you are not doing what is right for you, it is not right for others either. Living from the ego is when we please others at the expense of the soul.

Our end goal is to be in right relationship, right living location and right livelihood. Only you can decide what is right for you.  You are the master of your destiny and the authority of your life. What does your soul want? Is your heart open?

The good news I am witnessing, is that many people have balanced their third dimensional karma. Yes, people are being freed from 3-D karmic relationships and karmic jobs. Karmic meaning that you give and give but do not receive equal love, energy and rewards in return. The relationship or job places heavy demands on you. Although you would rather not be involved in it, you find it difficult to break free.  I can see this in the astrology, when clients have completed their karmic life lessons, and are now free to move on to create the life they truly desire-a life based on who they are today and who they are becoming. How about a life filled with soul mate love? How about work that gives you passion?

Yet, if the inner critic, and for some the inner Hitler, is telling you that you are not worthy of true love or work that makes you satisfied. One can choose to stay stuck, enslaved to habit, repeating past actions. There are those who are choosing to stay in karmic relationships even though Creator is offering them their freedom.

Some people would rather choose the change called death then start a new life in the same body. Abraham teaches us that this is a good thing for people to cross over and get a fresh and frisky young body. This gives the soul a new beginning with a new birth chart filled with new potentials and possibilities.  Freedom and individual rights will trump security and the status quo in the years to come. This will greatly improve our quality of life, work and relationships.

Uranus in Aries will start to strip away our false attachments to our stale roles, limiting lifestyles and jobs so that we are free to recreate ourselves.  The spiritual goal is to free us from our self-imposed limitations and our negative self-talk. “That is too hard to do! I am too old to change. I can’t do that! I am not smart, cool or attractive enough.” The universe is shouting, “You are worthy! You can do anything you put your mind and heart into. Believe in your dreams.” Believe in your Self-mastery to manifest your heart’s desires. We can be born again in the Aquarian vibration. This is Self-development in the group consciousness, where we move beyond the identity of our ego, family, religion, race and country to realize that we are all family.  We are all connected to each other through the light.

Get ready for a rocket ship ride into something new and different.  Wherever the New Moon falls in your natal chart is where you are encouraged to make a breakthrough in consciousness.

Aquarius represents freedom, truth, knowledge and insight through new understanding gained through friends and social groups.  Aquarius wants us to discover our true inner purpose. Each one of us has unique gifts to offer. Goddess could not be here today so she sent you. Make that leap of faith. Take a chance. You are worthy of all things great and beautiful, let your spirit set you free.

We have a fabulous Full Moon in caring and compassionate Cancer today. The Sun is in Capricorn, opposing the Moon in Cancer, inviting us to create a  balance between our personal lifestyles-our ability to nurture ourselves (Cancer Moon) and our professional lives-reputation and obligations (Capricorn Sun).  We want to find balance involving what we need in order to have vitality, health, well-being, and in fulfilling our responsibilities to the world.

What can you do to take better care of yourself? Where do you need to make improvements in your diet, exercise, or sleeping habits?  Drinking lots of clean water empowers us to move the energy through our bodies and avoid illness. Deep breathing empowers us to release stress and be present.

Full Moons tend to bring matters to a head. What has been building up behind the scenes since the last New Moon is demanding a voice and expression.  Einstein believed that energy cannot be destroyed only transformed. Accidents and illnesses can occur when we are not channeling our anger and frustration in healthy ways -communication, working-out and meditation.

The good news is that the Cancer Full Moon and Capricorn Sun are both in harmonious aspect with Jupiter and Uranus. This creates tremendous opportunity for finding solutions to old nagging problems. We can move from breakdown to breakthrough personally, professionally and spiritually.  We can see our challenges as opportunities for growth and greater personal fulfillment.  We are here to live a joyous life.

Breakdown to Breakthrough Process

The Party is about to begin when expansive Jupiter fires into Aries on Saturday.  We are about to make the jump to light speed.  There are no retrograde planets until the end of January, when Saturn moves backwards in Libra until June.

The cosmos are giving us the green light to move ahead, take those calculated risks and be open to all that is new and stimulating. If you were ten times braver, what would you be doing with your life? Comfort and security are great, except when it is holding us back from reaching our highest expression and having our heart’s desires.

Hello Ms. Kelley! Happy 2011! Any chance you could offer your perspective on the recent press articles indicating that all the astrological signs are wrong due to shifting planets? It just seems wrong that I would be a Taurus…..:)

The Professor and scientific critics you are referring to are right. The Sun is actually in one sign behind what astrology tells us it is in.  It is correct that today the Sun in Capricorn is physically in the backdrop of the constellation of Sagittarius. On the other hand, the Professor did not do any authentic astrological research. He did not work with a professional astrologer who works with real clients and applied astrology.  Therefore, if we are to dismiss the accuracy of astrology without doing any real astrological work with human beings, or any long-term study of astrology at work in our lives. This is not the full story being presented to the masses and is most unfortunate. One may wonder if the Professor had intended to discredit astrology with his hypothesis.

In astrological terms, why is the /Sun in Capricorn/ physically in the constellation of Sagittarius ?

The Earth has not shifted; it is in the same place it was when we first recorded the constellations thousands of years ago. It is our view of the universe that has changed. It is an optical illusion. Because of the Earth rotation, we wobble around the Sun giving the perspective of now. Today the Sun is in from our view on Earth. However, each constellation is filled with hundreds of millions of stars and planets. How we draw a line around it and call it “Taurus” (or any constellation) is not the point. The truth is astrology works and we have the historical evidence to back it up.

The planets are a clock that has not changed over the centuries. Unlike our calendar, man has been playing with time for centuries.  Julius Caesar added the month of July to have it named after him. His brother Augustus wanted a month named after him, which is how we got August. It is man that messed up our view of the stars and manipulated the months. Astrology has been a constant that has not changed over time and it is amazingly accurate!

It is the manipulation of the calendar for centuries, to suit the needs of men, which has altered the apparent Zodiac. Rest assured though, Astrology has remained a constant.  This is the reason the Sun appears from Earth to be in the sign before.

Astrology is the most ancient science on the planet. All ancient astronomers were astrologers first; why was that truth omitted?

We refer to astrology as the Cosmic Clock of Astrology, because this is exactly how it behaves.  In Ancient times, we began recording human behavior according to how the constellations above were aligned.  For instance, we noticed that when the Sun was in Capricorn, babies born under that sign were very ambitious and serious in personality.

The planets and stars are not controlling us, they simply offer us insight.  We have been able to better understand human behavior by studying astrology.  Astrology is a roadmap of vibrational energy we are inundated with moment to moment.

As I write this, today the Sun is at 29 degrees Capricorn in astrology. Who could deny how heavy and serious the energy has been these last few weeks? Sagittarius the sign before Capricorn is a party sign filled vibrational energy to take risks, go on adventures, have fun, party and celebrate life. In your daily life, where would you say you have been experiencing the Sun, in Sagittarius or Capricorn?

Astrologers are not mystics! We are historians. We study human behavior based on the cycles of life. We humans live cycles within cycles- just like a clock has a little hand (Mercury) and big hand (Pluto) marking the minutes and hours. For instance, every 250 years humankind has a revolution. Moreover, every 250 years Pluto is in Capricorn.

Today, we are having a revolution in consciousness- in world events, systems, institutions, socially and culturally.  We are about to revolutionize everything. Humankind is going through a huge transformation and Pluto is back in Capricorn just as he was during our freedom from England and the French Revolution that occurred in 1776.

Another cycle for instance, would be that man reinvents himself every 86 years. Every 86 years Uranus is in Aries (the sign of the individual).  Uranus is back in Aries for seven years on March 11, 2011.  We are all being asked to hit the reset button on our lives and reinvent ourselves.

Everything is energy. I am energy. You are energy. The astrology maps the energy patterns in motion. I am like a weatherman. I read the astrological energy you are working with in your life and report it to you. You are the authority of your life, not I, the astrologer and coach. You are the master of your destiny and owner of your free will. What we do with astrology is up to us. Astrology does not control people. I have been an astrologer for over 40 years. I find it is the fastest and deepest way to understand human behavior and make predictions for the individual and collectively (corporations, countries and nations.)

Timing is everything. Knowing your astrology gives you your timing and edge up!  In this way, we can feel less frustrated when we are practicing the Law of Attraction and the good stuff has yet to show up. We can practice all we want, but if our astrology is in hard aspect to Saturn (restriction and limitation) or powerful Pluto (endings and beginnings). We can better understand our lack of results or difficulty in attracting our desires. We can practice all the good thoughts we can muster, but we will not be able to transmute the effects of the grumpy old men (Saturn and Pluto).  Would it not be helpful for the individual to know he is doing everything right, that his timing and life is about patience, perseverance and releasing the old?

Science is catching up with astrology and metaphysics. Scientists are working on proving the existence of “God”. While we patiently wait, we should recognize that Creator gave us the gift of astrology, to comfort, clarify and strategize our choices. We can ride the wave or our life cycles and reach our highest potential.

You were intended to have it all! Today, you do not have to be rich or powerful to know and capitalize on your astrology. You were created to live a joyful life. Scientists used to tell us that the world was flat and Earth was the center of the universe, remember your history books.  Time has a way of bringing the truth to light. Wait and see.

We start the New Year with the Moon in optimistic and far-reaching Sagittarius, a positive omen for 2011.  On December 5^th, during the New Moon in Sagittarius, we stepped into the fertile grounds of unlimited potential and possibilities which remain fertile until the New Moon Solar Eclipse on January 4, 2011.  We have the opportunity, now, to map out what we want to manifest in 2011.

What you are feeling right now could determine what you feel throughout the entire year.  What you are thinking and doing right now will set the stage for 2011. The cosmic message is to be positive and forward focused.  Keep the faith. Persevere. Keep believing, for the best is yet to come.

On the other hand, this time is so intense and powerful we do not want to waste it on negative emotions. Do not sit and simmer in the wounds of your past. Burn the past. All power is in the now. Give yourself the gift of amnesia. We can let each new day be the first day of our lives. The choices we make today will determine our future.

Solar and Lunar Eclipses are the most powerful transits we can experience and their effects last anywhere from six months to two years. Eclipses herald in major new beginnings and endings. You can use this Eclipse energy to release old stale roles that no longer serve you, follow your heart’s desires and more fully share your unique gifts with the world. Whatever wants to leave your life now, be it a relationship, job or lifestyle-Let it go. Resistance is futile.  The universe will tear it out of our bleeding hands. The twin flame divine love energy is rising in all of us- it is time to be with your soul mate. You may even notice greater sexual energy in your root chakra. All of your chakras may be lighting up now as the Kundalini energy rises up the alter (spinal column) of your being. The body is the messenger, and the body wants its twin soul mate – the divine lover.  True love is not for the faint of heart, it is only for the strong.  The ego cannot love; it fights for control and is the murderer of love. That is why we must fight for love. We must not allow our ego to be the tool for the anti-forces of love which tear twin souls apart. The soul must fight for his or her soul mate. If soul mate love was easy to have in third dimension everyone would be living with their “one true love.”

We can be under love’s illusion in thinking when we find “the one” (after all, there can only be one), we will live happily ever after. Not so fast. Relationships create change, change creates conflict, conflict creates growth. Thus, growth in relationships creates conflict. Change and growth go hand in hand. It is healthy to challenge each other to grow and always be our best version of Self.

Research has shown what truly makes us happy, and it is not simply money. To be happy, we must have more money than our friends. That makes me laugh. Our children do not make us happy. In fact, our children can disappoint us. It is not the responsibility of our children to make us happy. It is their responsibility to find their own path to happiness. Happiness is not external. The secret to happiness is so simple. It is having a loving relationship with your soul mate.

On December 20, 2010 we had a Lunar Eclipse in Gemini. Lunar Eclipses are extra powerful Full Moons. Lunar eclipses bring to conscious awareness our true nature and feelings, and that which has been hidden from us in our sub-conscious minds. Our fears come closer to the surface. Lunar Eclipses can bring endings to the past, the unloving relationships, stale jobs, and unhealthy lifestyles. If we let go of what is not working and keep the faith-where we are heading may be better than our wildest and joyous imaginings. Trust your intuition and follow your heart in all your choices. When you do what is right for you, it is right for everyone else.

This Capricorn Solar Eclipse on January 4^th is truly a great blessing. Venus the Goddess of Love and Money is favorably aspected at the eclipse.  Venus is opening the doors to new work opportunities and true love partnerships.  There is tremendous positive energy in January that will empower people to move boldly in new directions creating new pathways in living, loving and working. At the time of the Solar Eclipse, Jupiter and Uranus make their last conjunction in sensitive Pisces before Jupiter fires off into Aries on January 22^nd.  These wild and crazy planets ignite our genius mind, offering breakthroughs in our lives, creativity, inventions, and new discoveries. We are no longer willing to settle for less than what we deserve. You are here to have it all: a life filled with joy, abundance and passion.  The universe is giving us the fire and courage to reach for what we want.

In the first half of transitional 2011, we will all be very active. In the second half of the year, we will experience great gains and harvest the fruit of our labor.

The Solar Eclipse New Moon in Capricorn will provide us with favorable supportive energy to build our new lives.  Saturn in Libra is squaring the Solar Eclipse forcing us to re-examine our relationships, the roles we play, move out of the victim consciousness, and create win/win solutions. Saturn does not care what agreements we make, just that we keep them. This is a special time to shift out of old patterns of self-limitation and make major changes in our lives.

This Solar Eclipse is an extra powerful New Moon and depending on where it falls in your birth chart, and the aspects it will make to your natal planets, determines the area of life that is dramatically changing for you. Make friends with change. Change is our friend. Remember that eclipses only take that which is obsolete. The universe will not take from you that which you need to live a healthy, happy and thriving life. Capricorn asks us to own our power. Do not give your power away to the government, the institutions, the television or other people. Be the observer. Where do you need to reclaim your authority? Watch how you own, use, get and keep your power. Trust your own inner authority.

2011 will be a crossroads year, what path will you choose? What do you love and value? What beliefs need to be updated in regards to your relationships, money and lifestyle? What is possible for you now? What do you want to create in 2011? I think we are all asking, “Will 2011 be a better year than 2010?”

In my humble opinion, 2011 will be a historical year and a year of profound life-changing choices personally, professionally and spiritually.

For many people 2010 felt like an endurance test; where we were just hanging on, waiting for things to change for the better.  This could be your turning-point-year, filled with brilliant breakthroughs onto new horizons. If we stay open and be flexible, we can awaken into a new life, new identity, and a new worldview. What is possible for you now?

Creating 2011

What would it be like if you literally could create the future?  Are you willing to experiment?

Here is a process that has produced some amazing results for people in past years. Use it to replace the New Year’s resolutions you are about to make.

Step 1: Imagine it is December 31, 2011.

Step 2: Imagine you are looking back over the year 2011 and reflecting on all the wonderful, successful outcomes you had. See them. Touch them. Feel them. (It is through the power of emotion that we manifest our heart’s true desires.)

Step 3: Now take pen (or computer) in hand and write yourself a letter describing everything that happened in 2011. What do you have in your life on December 31, 2011 that you are grateful for?  It may be a new job, career or perhaps you have resolved a major problem with a relationship. Maybe it’s a new home, a more stable financial situation, better health, a changed lifestyle where you spend less time working and more time doing the things you really want to do. You can work less and make more life. Whatever it is, write it down. Be specific. For instance, if it’s increased income, say how much.

Step 4: Now, take a look at each item and see what action steps you took during the year 2011 that produced the wonderful outcomes you are enjoying. Write those actions in your calendar, indicating when they took place.  Again, be as detailed as possible.

Step 5: Now, put the letter away and look forward to pulling it out to read it next year on December 31, 2011 when you compare your letter with what you actually did.  You will be amazed! Especially if you take the action steps you wrote down as you come to them on the calendar during the course of the year.
