Live The Dream, Creating A Great 2008

“All is well, and you will never get it done. Life is supposed to be fun. No one is taking score of any kind, and if you will stop taking score so much, you will feel a whole lot better -- and as you feel a whole lot better, more of the things that you want right now will flow to you. You will never be in a place where all of the things that you are wanting will be satisfied right now, or then you could be complete -- and you never can be. This incomplete place that you stand is the best place that you could be. You are right on track, right on schedule. Everything is unfolding perfectly. All is really well. Have fun. Have fun. Have fun!” –Abraham/Hicks

Astrologically, the New Year begins Tuesday morning January 8th with The New Moon in Capricorn.  Don't wait any longer; if you desire to make any resolutions for 2008, do it now. If you did, creating a ritual of intention can help you clarify your objectives for the future.  This New Capricorn Moon asks us to take a thorough inventory of our lives.  What would you do if you were ten times bolder? What is holding you back?

“The Capricorn New Moon is a time to lay out your agenda for the year ahead. While it's not necessary to spell out your plans in full detail, this is an opportunity to connect to your core and align your intentions. Make at least one commitment to improve yourself and the discipline and order it brings are likely to grow. This focus on your own sense of purpose in whatever area of life you choose is an empowering act with positive long-term consequences.” –Jeff Jawer

Making Right Choices

Saturn the ruler of Capricorn is the Law of Karma (Attraction); karma is not about guilt and punishment, but simply the law of cause and effect. What we do to others we will experience ourselves.  And, what we have done to others will be returned to sender.  This is so we can grow and become better or great people.  This is what makes you the master of your destiny.  For whatever we experience in life we have set in motion.  The whole reason we are here is to grow, evolve and expand our potential.  Your life is evolution. And this can require some painful lessons; in order to get you on the right path and making the right choices, right living and healthy loving or not; for we are always at choice.

When we own our power we are free

By taking full responsibility for everything in our lives we own our power.  When we own our power we are free.  We have no control over what others choose to do, not even our children as they have their lessons to learn too. We can only role model to others a healthy happy life.  When you are really happy others will want to know your secret. We have no control over the weather, the government, the economy or the price oil all of which can be quite annoying these days.  Where your power lies is in choosing to stay joyful each day. So why squander your life-force chasing illusions (for example, living in the future of getting the big promotion, dream house, soul mate, fame, fortune etc.) ignoring the now, living in the future and staying attached to that which was never true is what causes suffering.  "You cannot judge the value of a life by its quantity. It is by the joy that you are feeling. The more joyful you are, the longer you live. Let yourself relax and breathe and be free and be joyous, and romp. The optimum physical life experience is to have plenty of things that stimulate you to desire, and an awareness of the way you feel, so you're reaching for thoughts that feel good--so you're wide open, so you're tuned in, tapped in, and turned on. We promise you, the timing of your death is always chosen by you." -Abraham/Hicks

Happiness is a choice

Happiness can only come from within and choosing to be fully present.  It is a daily choice.  Did you know that ninety-percent of all primary care doctor visits are stress related?   In truth, a relaxed attitude lengthens your life.  Attitude is everything! Don’t allow other people, circumstances, traffic, etc to stress you out.  Keep it all in perspective.  Change your approach to problems. For instance, meditate while in traffic, by breathing deeply we calm the body.  Choose not to allow the trouble maker at work or in your family to get under your skin.  Step up, rise above the human drama and choose to be calm, flexible and make adjustments when needed.  Set aside ten minutes each day to sit quietly and calm the body, mind and spirit.  Seek out calm and peaceful moments.  Don’t allow anyone or anything to steal your joy.  Own your power.  Own you joy.  It is your birth right to be happy. Above all else, we must choose it and no one can give joy to us, for it was always ours to claim.

Live The Dream

This is the year to make your dreams come true. Three of the major players have shifted from fire (inspiration) signs to earth (reality) signs: Jupiter from Sagittarius to Capricorn, Saturn from Leo to Virgo and Pluto moves from Sagittarius on January 25th to Capricorn until 2024. Except for his final retrograde back into fire late summer and early fall.  Taking your dreams, goals and wishes and grounding them in a practical, patient, persistent strategy is your calling in 2008.  The greatest moments of your life are defined by your actions. Be deliberate and let your light shine through. Success needs to be defined by each person and not based on comparisons or external events or what others want you to be. Follow what is written in your natal birth chart and you will find your point of brilliance; which is what you can do better than anyone else in the world.   There are passion clues everywhere, for instance, what do you really want to be doing, but are afraid or embarrassed to tell others? Those are the passion clues that you are on your way to finding your point of brilliance.

2008 = A One Year

This is a one year for all of us.  We can have a fresh start now.  Ones mean new beginnings, birth of an invention.  New ideas.  Creative Power. Potential. Promise. A situation is about to begin or is already in its early stages. One is the number equated  with Source, the beginning and ending of all things.  2008 Can be your year for a new career, a new enterprise, a wonderful relationship, and exciting new challenges that bring out your greatness.

Passionate Mars moves forward

Ardent Mars moves direct on January 30th this will move work, projects and job opportunities forward that may have been lingering since the middle of November.  Remember the best defense is a positive attitude.  Fear = attachment to outcome.   Use the Laws of Attraction to build your supply of money.  Focus on gratitude daily, those who speak most of illness have illness, those who speak most of prosperity have it, etc.

Mercury Retrograde

Messenger Mercury turns retrograde January 28th –February 18th.  Stay flexible, plans may change or new conditions may require a new strategy.  Double check anything important before finalizing it.  Keep a healthy sense of humor. Mercury loves to play games especially hide and seek during his backward motion.  “Create peace in your life to encourage peace in the world. Your position affects all. You have this power. Make use of it.” –Ivo/Lisa Dorr

2008 = A One Year questions to consider:

What is your point of brilliance?

That is what can you do better than anyone else?

What can you be the best in the world at?

What are you deeply passionate about?

What get’s your juices going?

What is your BHAG (Big Hairy Audacious Goal)?

What drives your economic engine?

What would you be doing if money was not a concern?

What projects can you create to make more money?

Creating A Great 2008

What would it be like if you literally could create the future?  Are you willing to experiment? Here's a process that has produced some amazing results for people in past years. Use it to replace the New Year's resolutions you are about to make.

Step 1: Imagine it is December 31, 2008.

Step 2: Imagine you are looking back over the year 2008 and reflecting on all the wonderful, successful outcomes you had. See them. Touch them. Feel them.

Step 3: Now take pen (or computer) in hand and write yourself a letter describing everything that happened in 2008. What do you have in your life on December 31, 2008, that you are grateful for?  It maybe a new job or career. Perhaps you have resolved a major problem with a relationship.  Or, you may have a new home, a more stable financial situation, better health, a changed lifestyle where you spend less time working and more time doing the things you really want to do. Whatever it is, write it down. Be specific. For example if it's increased income say how much.

Step 4: Now, take a look at each item and see what action steps you took during the year 2008 that produced the wonderful outcomes you are enjoying. Write those actions in your calendar, indicating when they took place.  Again, be as detailed as possible.

Step 5: Now, put the letter away and look forward to pulling it out to read it next year on December 31, 2008 when you compare your letter with what you actually did.  You will be amazed! Especially if you take the action steps you wrote down as you come to them on the calendar during the course of the year.

Be Unstoppable!
