He is back…
Mercury the Messenger turns retrograde July 22- August 15th . However, his shadow period is Now until August 30. Meaning we are currently experiencing the retrograde affect. Mercury the Messenger God rules all forms of communication: i.e., buses, trains, planes, automobiles, phone lines, computers, the written and the spoken word, speeches, the news media, teaching, and learning is his kingdom.

In addition, Neptune the planet of illusion, delusion, deception and confusion is in opposition (coming through external events, people or cirucmstances) with Mercury retrograde moving through Leo (big drama/emotions). Tempers can be high and patience can be low. What we think we see is not necessarily what we get. Staying as grounded as possible will alleviate much miscommunication/mishap. The retrograde energy can create frustrating conditions, delays, setbacks, or last-minute changes of plans. It is best to stay flexible, open, go with the flow, and keep a sense of humor.

Do not be surprised if you reconsider all your options, change your mind, and take a turn in a new direction. Retrogrades cycles by nature are a period of reflection, where your personal subjective needs i.e., researching, resting, meditating, restoring, relaxing, processing, journaling, your internal work will take priority over external events or Objective Reality.
