Discover Your Life Purpose “You have been oriented that you must pay a price in order to get somewhere, and in the process, you’ve come to believe that getting there must be really important, therefore, it must be your purpose. And we say, but if you’re not getting to joy, then you’ve gotten nowhere. Joy is really where you’re going.” –Abraham-Hicks The Sun enters the sign of Taurus on April 19th and we have a Scorpio Full Moon on April 20th. It is followed by another Scorpio Full Moon on May 20th. Whenever you have two repeated Full Moons in a one month cycle in the same sign it makes these ultra influential Full Moons. Hence the issues of Taurus and Scorpio are vividly emphasized. Hence the issues of Taurus and Scorpio are vividly emphasized. Wherever they fall in your birth chart is where you are learning the lessons regarding resources, core values, reserves, and where you may be locked up or stuck concerning them. When people are in harmony with their core values, we live authentically and joyfully. We live from our inner power, our core and we know what works for us and what does not. This builds self-esteem, self-respect and greater effectiveness personally and in our work. What do you love and appreciate? In Taurus we center on our core values; values are things you do or that you find very attractive. When engaged in these activities, you feel most like yourself: healthy, strong, connected, excited, glowing and joyful. Centering on what you love and appreciate, your inner and outer resources, and your earning ability. Including anything we put the word “my” in front of: my life, my work, my home, my car, my child, my partner. Your financial practices, sense of self-worth and self-esteem. Taurus is also concerned with excess, such as: overeating, smoking, drinking, impulse spending, and promiscuity. Are any of these a concern for you? The purpose here is to create life/work balance through moderation and Self-mastery. This does not mean being perfect or doing everything perfect in your life. We need to love and appreciate ourselves. Practice “healthy selfishness” If you are strong within Self, you can manage stress and problems without falling apart, getting sick or acting out in negative behavior. The goal is to strengthen our reserves: emotional, spiritual, physical, mental and financial reserves. In truth, we need abundant reserves during times of stress and crisis. Healthy reserves empower us so we can take risks and experience exciting new opportunities. Be your own cause and you will build your reserves. Are you giving your love, time and energy to others and withholding from yourself? Making everyone else more important than you? If you really want to be generous with others, love yourself more. Make you your number one priority. Practice “healthy selfishness” and you will always offer the best of you to people. Discover Your Life Purpose Understanding yourself based on your core values, not just material values. This includes spiritual, psychological and moral values. Happiness and joyful living is derived from aligning with our core. Above all else, your life purpose is derived from your number one core value. For instance, my number one core value personally is freedom. In work it is to inspire/encourage and guide others. Appreciating your Self based on your core values is like finding a pot of gold at the end of a rainbow. It provides you with that inner knowing of being on track, on purpose, and creates greater self-acceptance. I would be happy to give you the True Values Program to assist you in discovering your life purpose. Just drop me an email with Values in the subject line and I will email it to you. This Full Moon threshold can be the end of the road. If your limits have been reached or things feel completely dried out, it can be the right time to walk away from it all and make a fresh start. Buddha was a Taurus. He taught us that all inordinate desire and attachment to people, possessions and money are the root cause of our suffering. The more attached we are to outcome, beliefs, people, possessions, and situations the more at risk we are to disappointment and frustration. In these crazy times we are living in, there is little security in real estate, the stock market or even the company you work for. All security is in your Inner Being or Higher Self. Many financial experts are saying that the best investment now is in you. Invest in yourself, invest in a business. The only reason we want anything is because we believe it will make us feel better having it. Consider what makes you feel joyful. Always act in ways that bring you joy. Do what is joyful first. Do what is joyful right now. What if Creator’s dream for your life is bigger than your own? Ask and it is given. Ask for wealth, strong health, true love, your perfect home and keep a positive attitude. “If everyone could get this selfish consciousness where they ask and expect to receive, everyone would tap into the Energy Stream and thrive. The best you can do for anyone is to thrive fully and be willing to explain to anyone who asks how it is that you are thriving, and what it is that you've discovered—and then, just relax and trust that all truly is well.” –Abraham-Hicks Taurean questions to consider:
