What Is Your Sacred Destination?

“We are stardust / We are golden / And we’ve got to get ourselves / Back to the garden.”              (from the song, “Woodstock,” by Joni Mitchell)

Leo New Moon                                                                                                                                         Spirit. Love. Destiny.  The archetype of Leo guides us back to our hearts, back to our spiritual blueprint.  Leo is the sign of creativity, the metaphysical truth that everyone is creator and a unique son and daughter of the Divine.  We have five of the ten planets lining up in fun loving Leo on August 12, 2007 that is the Sun, the Moon, Mercury Venus, and Saturn.  The cosmic finger is pointing to the center of your chest.  Your heart! Who are you? What is your heart saying?  What would Love do? What is your destiny? The word destiny comes from the same cognate as destination: “a purpose for which somebody or something is intended.” (Webster’s Dictionary). This New Moon in Leo calls us back to our soul intentions and our sacred destination.  "Whatever the tasks that your soul has agreed to, whatever its contract with the Universe is, all of the experiences of your life serve to awaken within you the memory of that contract and to prepare you to fulfill it."-- Gary Zukav

Have Fun!                                                                                                                                                     Leo is the ruler of the fifth house in astrology representing creativity, children, romance and risk taking. In August Leo is shouting: Go for it! “To thine own self be true.”  This is where your personality blooms.  The most talented, gifted and creative people are very much connected to their inner child.  From their playful childlike nature is where they make magic i.e., new Self-discoveries, zest for life, fresh ideas and inspiration.   What do you do for leisure, amusement, entertainment?  For instance, do you enjoy reading, writing, watching TV, painting, bubble bath, cleaning, cooking, movies, listening to music, singing, grooming, playing with the dog, journaling, crafts, shopping, walking and exercising? We are relationship orientated beings and doing activities with others is emotionally fulfilling and vital to your well-being. “Have fun today! Let it be your gift to self. Your attitude can make all the difference.” –Ivo/Lisa Dorr

Take Risks!                                                                                                                                                   We need to be confident enough to take needed risks. Without the courage to take risks we cannot move forward in life and reach our rewards.  In truth, we are taking more of a risk Not following our joy or expressing our playful side.  We die before we die, meaning that we die a little bit each day if we are not taking risks and living life from following our passion.  We have to get out of our comfort zone and try new activities in order to grow, receive new opportunities and new relationships.  “Hypothetically, people worry about everyone being selfishly oriented. 'If everyone did exactly what they want to do, what kind of world would this be?' And we say, a really, really good one. Because if everyone did what they wanted to do, everyone would feel free. And if you feel free, you feel empowered. And every negative emotion that exists—hear this—every negative emotion that exists is because there is some sense of loss of freedom somewhere in there.” –Abraham/Hicks

Keep Smiling!                                                                                                                                     Creativity is not just art and music, creativity is where you are finding your voice and expressing it in your form and fashion.  All of us are creative in some way.  Creativity is born from your inner child and your playful nature. When a person has identified the activities that really make him/her smile, automatically life becomes one’s own.  Life was intended to be wonderful, joyful, creative and fun. Doing activities that makes you smile automatically helps you see the difference between wants/joy/fun and should/have to’s/oughtas.  The latest research shows that children smile four-hundred times/day and adults smile nine times/day.  Smiling releases endorphins and serotonin in the brain creating natural positive good feelings.  Is it any wonder so many adults are running to antidepressants to replace what comes natural to children?  Smile away your worries and feel your contentment return. Where your mind goes, you follow. Be sure it is a place you want to go.

The Love Goddess is moving backwards…

The Goddess of Love is retrograde in Leo now from July 27 through September 8, 2007 joining with Serious Saturn helping us to clarify our core values and our bottom lines.  Whenever the Goddess of Love and Beauty meets the karmic taskmaster (Saturn), relationships and resources undergo a reality check.  Are we getting as much as we are giving?  Do we want what we have? Saturn says to Venus: Be truthful. Be prudent. And be Real.

The Secret                                                                                                                                                    The Saturn-Neptune opposition in Leo-Aquarius which started last August of 2006 is highly active August of 2007 too! The Secret was first released as a film (Neptune), detailing the Law (Saturn) of Attraction and the mechanics of creation (Leo) for the masses (Aquarius).  Watch the Secret for reminders about the importance of focusing on what you want, rather than energizing what you don’t.  If we want to change our lives we have to change our thoughts.   Remember that you are the master of your destiny. You are co-creating with Source in every breath you take. Follow your gut instinct, your intuition only you can decide what is true for you.  Clarify your goals and eliminate distractions. Focus on your destiny, destination.  Everyone counts.  Everyone matters.  Schedule some soul time around this New Moon. “Believe in the possibility of all your dreams coming true. It is the first step in the manifestation of your heart's true desires”.—Ivo/Lisa Dorr
