Starlight, Star Bright Mercury the Messenger is Starring Tonight…

     This New Moon in Gemini on June 14 in the sign of the Twins is generally a pointer to pick up the pace of communication being open to fresh ideas and new channels of communication. Although, purging Pluto's opposition to this Sun-Moon combination shows that letting go of wasteful interests, activities and individuals may be essential during the next two weeks.  Struggles arise when you resist letting go. On June 15, magical Mercury -- Gemini's ruling planet -- turns retrograde, beginning a three-week backwards period of revision and review that's better for cleaning up the past than pushing forward. This doesn't mean life stops, but that advancing yourself personally and in work is more likely to occur when you take the time to complete unfinished business before adding any new responsibilities. Magical Mercury has the ability to make people, situations, and things appear and disappear during his retrograde cycle.
 

     Messenger Mercury, the star communicator traveling through emotional Cancer can make simple comments feel like harsh criticism, so be gentle with your words and temper your reactions to avoid conflict. Slow down and speak more clearly, double check facts, and be diligent with data to avoid dreaded Mercury wretchrograde mishaps. If you can avoid making major purchases or signing contracts during Mercury retrograde, fantastic. If not stay away from the start and finish dates June 15 and July 9. These dates are when the retrograde energy is the most powerful. Problems with technology and travel can be reduced by proper maintenance and careful planning. Mercury's inward turn in highly sensitive Cancer is a good time to bring up unfinished emotional business that may rock the boat, but resolution will ultimately help restore trust. Powerful Pluto’s directive is to get out of our heads and into our hearts. A joyful heart is within you. Take it out to play. Keep a sense of humor and don’t leave home without it.
