Sun Springs into Aries

            "The most beautiful thing we can experience is the mysterious. It is the source of all true art and all science. He to whom this emotion is a stranger, who can no longer pause to wonder and stand rapt in awe, is as good as dead: his eyes are closed."  -Albert Einstein

            Are you hungry for a new start?  The Sun has sprung into Aries and is joined by the New Moon in Aries providing a giant push, catapulting us into a new life, fresh beginnings, new ideas, new living locations, new work, and new relationships.  The fact that we have a New Moon on the day the Sun marched into Aries (Spring Equinox) the universe is shouting.  “Are you ready for a new life? You can be born again in spring.” “When you change the way you look at things the things you look at change.” –Wayne Dyer.  Attitude is everything!

             In some countries Spring Equinox is considered the first day of the year.  Happy New Year!   Careful what you wish for… what you plant now will take hold, and through the summer months, your seedlings will grow strong and plentiful, onto the harvest in the fall.   In honor of the increase of light in our Northern Hemisphere, here is a prayer to fill your world with light.  All prayer is most powerful when said aloud.  I AM LIGHT by the Ascended Master Kuthumi (Saint Francis of Assisi)

“I am Light, glowing light, Radiating Light, intensified Light, God consumes my darkness, Transmuting it into Light.  This day I Am a focus of the Central Sun. Flowing through me is a crystal river, A living fountain of Light That can never be qualified By human thought and feeling. I AM an outpost for the Divine.  Such darkness as has used me is swallowed up By the mighty river of Light which I AM.  I AM, I AM, I AM Light;

I live, I live, I live in Light.

I AM Light’s fullest dimension;

I AM Light’s purest intention.

I AM Light, Light, Light Flooding the world everywhere I Move, Blessing, strengthening, conveying The purpose of the kingdom of heaven.” -Kuthumi, Studies of the Human Aura, 1962

           Serious Saturn is direct now in the constellation of Cancer where he will be hounding us until July 17, 2005 when he roars into Leo.  Until then we will have to contend with our security/insecurity issues. Saturn is in harsh aspect to this New Moon and Sun in Aries.  While I was biking through the park, I overheard Saturn and Aries having a chat… Saturn said in a methodical responsible tone, “Yes, go ahead with your new plans, but look before you leap. Remember what happened the last time you dared to go where angels fear to tread?  Do you want to crash and burn again?  All for that glorious adrenaline Aries rush into the unknown, must you thrive on the edge?

       Aries abruptly replied, “I would rather live fast, die young and have a great looking corpse. Than sit here and watch my precious life be wasted away with all this patience, practicality and responsibility.  Saturn you are going to bore me to tears.”   Perhaps we need a balance of the two perspectives at this time of year; action orientated individuals and focused intention to accomplish our goals.  Mars, the ruling planet of Aries is changing signs from Taurus to Gemini on this New Moon a significant turning point for all. Reminding us that  planning and thoughtful consideration are as crucial as courage and ingenuity.

Also we can’t forget Menacing Mercury turns wretch-rograde April 6-30 2004.

Spring Cleaning by the Signs ~

ARIES: gets competitive over who's the speediest sweeper or whose rag is dustiest.

TAURUS: goes over the same spot a million times with the vacuum, refusing to bend down to pick up the offending crumb.

GEMINI: finishes their chores in half the time of everyone else.

CANCER: becomes preoccupied with your photo collection.

LEO: spends all day polishing down the mirrors.

VIRGO: SO doesn't need your help.

LIBRA: keeps saying "don't I look adorable in this apron?"

SCORPIO: makes the bed, fluffs the pillows and asks for volunteers to test it out with them.

SAGITTARIUS: doesn't like being stuck inside. Send them out for some fun on your riding lawnmower.

CAPRICORN: weighs the pros, cons and financial incentives and may decide to go with a better offer.

AQUARIUS: organizes your piles of junk into charity, recycle and compost.

PISCES: asks to do the windows and then keeps staring out into the yard.
