We have the New Moon in Aquarius on January 23, our first New Moon in 2012. Our initiation into the future gets a boost of innovation and inspiration from Uranus the “Awakener” in harmonious aspect to the New Moon.  Saturn and Jupiter are making a wide challenging aspect.  Requiring that we use down to earth methods in attaining our fresh ideas currently being conceived.

All New Moons are new beginnings. We have the opportunity to plant new seeds in rich soil and watch what grows. Aquarius is most associated with our Dawning Age of freedom, abundance, truth, enlightenment and peace. Uranus is the God of chaos, who shatters old forms to make way for new ones. This New Moon starts another wave of breakdowns to breakthroughs. Uranus rules Truth.

Aquarians are the mental pioneers. They are forward focused individuals who live in the future and not in the past. Aquarians are much more emotionally involved with their work then they are with people. They must like the work they do. They invest much of their time and life force into their work.

Aquarians keyword is “Truth.”  Their key phrase is “I Know.”

Aquarians heartily dislike any restraint.  They are the rebels and individualists that have to go their own way, learning their own way. Independent, imaginative, creative and inventive there is a genius about them if they are evolved. In the less evolved Aquarians, there is coldness and a detachment that repels rather than attracts. The evolved Aquarians emotions are tenderized they ‘feel’ love and do not ‘think’ love.  In truth, we cannot ‘think’ love one has to ‘feel’ love with an open heart.

Aquarians are capable of being good leaders and organizers. They are the individualists who are ready and willing to break new trails where inventive ideas and procedures are concerned. Aquarians have two rulers Saturn and Uranus. They must work together or chaos will result. Uranus is a shattering force that breaks up old forms. Saturn is an agent that crystallizes forms or structures and establishes them in an ego complex. Uranus is life force. Saturn is the structure form that makes life force usable on the earth plane. In other words, without responsibility (Saturn) there can be no real freedom (Uranus) only chaos.  We want to be a rebel with a cause.

Aquarius is the sign of spiritual rebirth. The desire for it is strong today and sweeping the planet especially in our youth. We are entering the Age of Aquarius. We are leaving the Age of Pisces. Pisces is the twelfth house sign of restriction and limitation. We now stand between two ages and to faith—Pisces added ‘knowledge—Aquarius.  In the Age of Aquarius, responsibility—Saturn and liberation—Uranus go hand in hand. True liberation can only come from inside.

Wherever Aquarius is found in our natal chart is where we need to reform old ideas and concepts about the house affairs. New Ideas and knowledge should be utilized in order to break down these old ideas and concepts form past lifetimes. The house affairs will receive abrupt changes as this reformulation takes place. The changes can be constructive or destructive, depending upon whether we are heading in the right direction.  Holding on to what is ending only creates suffering. Resistance is futile in 2012. Whatever is dissolving, leaving or departing let it go. Bless it for what it has taught you.

Mars retrograde in Virgo January 23 — April 13, 2012

This is a powerful transit for Mars rules our work, career, energy, sex drive and passion.  In Virgo, the hardest workers of the zodiac, Mars give us the opportunity to figure out, fix and rework what is not working in our lives.  Mars retrograde in Virgo directs us to resolve self-esteem issues, martyrdom and passive aggressive behaviors.  Challenges around anger, assertion, conflict and courage come to the fore. This is an excellent time to delve into our fears, underlying motivations, and to learn nonviolent communication.

New beginnings hastily started at this time prove to be premature. Sometimes requiring that we start all over again when Mars goes direct. Or else abandon our plans all together in favor of a new pursuit.  Mercury the Messenger is in harmonious aspect with Mars the Action Planet at his time of retrograde. Mercury is giving us a glimpse into our future possibilities. What we see and feel now may require weeks and months to refine and to put into practice.

Mars retrograde is excellent for initiating the planning stage of any important project, endeavor and/or goal. We can use this time to go back over and rework previously initiated projects. This is a great cycle to finish anything from our past, including ‘incompletions’ in our relationships. Mars retrograde is an awesome opportunity to retrace our steps and reclaim something of value.

Creator is using our Sun’s solar flares extreme activity and the intense astrology to awaken all of life. Even our beloved pets, plants and animals are feeling the Ascension energy.  Many people are in denial of the evolutionary changes sweeping our planet and lives. Some people are trying to insulate themselves in their money, relationships, addictions and/or work. Yet, there is no place to hide from Creator. On the other hand, if we are in our hearts and following our Truth. We will ride this wild evolutionary wave to our victory.

These energies can feel overwhelming and draining. The intense energy can “pop” you out of your body. We want to practice grounding daily, deep breathing and meditation.  We want to apply Extreme Self Care. That is drinking plenty of clean water, sleeping tons, eating well and exercising at least thirty-minutes a day.  Keeping a positive attitude and laughing a lot raises our vibration. We want to our keep vibration aligned with the increasing energy.

2012 is the year of Truth.

We are graduating from Third Dimension—3D. Our graduation date is December 21, 2012. We are returning to Full Consciousness—Fifth Dimension. In truth, we are powerful Earth Angels currently using less than 10% of our consciousness. We are divorcing our bad relationship 3D—limited thinking, abuse, domination, pain and fear.  Creator’s powerful Love/Light energy will continue to expand our consciousness and awaken the masses. The Aquarius New Moon is showing us that it is time for something completely different.  Get out of the rut and step into something unusual, and new. Aquarius empowers us to celebrate our uniqueness, diversity and originality.

The New Moon in Capricorn on December 24^th is an opportunity to awaken to the new future we are creating. Powerful Pluto is conjunct the New Moon encouraging us to let go of the “status quo” and reinvent our holiday rituals for celebration.  Uranus, the awakener and liberator, says it is time for radical change. Radical means: “return to our roots.” We are to move away from our addiction to materialism and move into Love.

Holidays will be different this year and in the years ahead. Uranus, the change agent, and Pluto, the transformer, are active at Christmas and New Years. In fact, “weird” may be in vogue this holiday season. Let your spirit soar to new approaches, rituals and directions, and celebrate your own uniqueness.  The New Moon in Capricorn is encouraging us to examine our traditions and fundamental way of life.

Capricorn is the natural ruler of the Tenth House. The amplifier of what a person attains, or does not attain—prestige, honor and success— before the public.  Capricorn is a ‘testing’ sign and the Tenth House is of deep significance to the soul on its journey to the highlands of spirit. Capricorn’s key phase is “I use.” Capricorn’s key word is “attainment”. Capricorn is symbolic of the mountain goat— solidarity, s/he who climbs alone to new heights with patience and persistence. Capricorn faces calculated risks in that climb, but nothing is going to stop him before he attains his objectives. Is it any wonder that Capricorn rules big business? Capricorn requires that we make a commitment, concentrate and be disciplined in our approach. Capricorn represents “active practicality.”

Capricorns are capable of great strength and have a strong sense of purpose. Where Leo rules by the divine right of kings, Capricorn rules by delegated authority. The Capricorn strength lies in leadership and humility. Money is important to the Capricorns, but not for the money itself, it’s the power money provides them in outer circumstances. Respect and reward have to be earned in Capricorn. Great wealth and great power includes great responsibilities. The evolved Capricorn has leadership, patience, perseverance and humility. They are ambitious and willing to work hard to achieve their goals. The less evolved Capricorns can be cold, stubborn, suspicious and retaliatory.

Wherever Capricorn is found in our natal chart is where we have to make “restitution.” There is a need to improve or renovate our ideas about the house affairs. In previous lifetimes, we have sought personal recognition through the affairs of the house. Now, this house is one of frustration, until we no longer seek to obtain any recognition from the house affairs. Capricorn certainly does not deny personal recognition, but only when the correct attitude is “restored”.

The Capricorn New Moon is aspected by Jupiter, Uranus and Pluto emphasizing our readiness for taking a giant step forward on our path.  Uranus–Freedom– reminds us that it comes with a price. We must speak truth to power. We must stand with the 99% and demand our government, banking, healthcare, education, and so on, serve our people and not just for the few who can purchase power.  Uranus represents liberty and individuality—the ability to avoid being deceived or detoured by what other people think.  Uranus wants us to question, experiment and know that each one of us has unique contributions to make.

Pluto is conjunct the Capricorn New Moon. He will bring things up to the surface from the bottom of our belly. What no longer serves us we must release. Pluto in Capricorn teaches us that we create with every thought, word and deed–that our life reflects our choices. Whatever is falling away from us now is to make room for something new. The Sun will approach its yearly conjunction with Pluto on December 28^th. Whatever must change will become crystal-clear. We are in the cycle of Capricorn–a cardinal, action-oriented energy. The cosmic message here is: do not make fast decisions now, even if we feel compelled. It is much wiser if we approach our issues in a strategic manner. We want to take our time.  Moving too quickly can create mistakes that we must correct. Patience and perseverance pays in dividends in the sign of the mountain goat.

The Gemini Lunar Eclipse on December 10 could be a wild roller coaster ride. Truth telling Uranus moves direct just hours before this eclipse. However, Gemini’s ruling planet Mercury the messenger and God of communication is still in retrograde motion. This can make life chaotic and confusing. We could be experiencing some very strange feelings. We are being bombarded with high-level energies and from many angles over an extended period. Old programs are being erased. New pathways become available and higher dimensions more accessible, as the matrices supporting creation are upgraded and rebooted.

Gemini is the sign of The Twins.

Why? You may ask? The twins represent a dual type of mind—someone who sees both sides of a question and jumps with interest to every new idea presented. They are friendly, witty, eloquent, versatile and perceptive. The less evolved Gemini’s can be restless, two-faced, critical and impatient. Gemini’s keyword is “I think.” Gemini’s love variety and detest boredom.   Gemini is the butterfly of the zodiac. They can flit from one experience to another, gathering bits of information along the way. Gemini’s minds are thirsty for intellectual satisfaction. Gemini’s can be karma chameleons molding to a relationship, situation, group and beliefs in their environment. However, in their attempt to stay on the surface—to avoid conflict and not go deep. Gemini’s can lose touch with their core values, needs and truth.  Their challenge is that they can see both points of view. This makes Gemini appear contradictory in their beliefs and position. Gemini must declare what it is they truly stand for and believe regardless of the approval of others.

Gemini’s are fun, interesting and stimulating to be around. We can learn tremendously from our master communicator friends. They have wonderful wit and a good sense of humor. Gemini’s are perceptive, intuitive and logical.  In the Tarot, Gemini is the Lovers card two opposites one male and one female in polarity. Gemini makes us aware of the duality of our own natures and how it affects our close personal relationships.

We all possess both the positive and negative traits of the twelve tribes/signs in each of our natal charts, pathologies and psychologies.  For instance, wherever Gemini falls in our natal chart is where we need to obtain a variety of experiences. The North Node and the South Node

There are two points on the Moon that are very important. They are the North Node and the South Node. The North Node represents the direction in life we must go in. The South Node represents where we have come from in the past. The North Node is in Sagittarius and the South Node is in Gemini at the Lunar Eclipse. The Moon is conjunct the South Node in Gemini. There could be a strong pull to our past, avoidance through retreating, self-medicating and gossip. People can be obsessing about religion, dogma and entrenched old patterns. We want to stay out of the South Node and go in the direction of the North Node in Sagittarius.

We want to stay grounded. Stay involved. Stay connected. Stay on your horse, no matter what is going on with other people. Focus on your work and service. Align yourself with what you truly believe in your heart. Seek out and network with other like/light minded people, groups and associations. Robust alliances are people we work effectively with for the good of all concerned. We can weather the transformative journey together with our strong alliances. In other words, no matter how weird people or events become, do not get off your horse. Do not get caught up in the chaos, confusion and drama.  In the direction of the North Node, we stay focused on our service, work and goals. This Gemini Full Moon Eclipse is about decisions, choices and unexpected changes.  Perhaps we have a choice between security and some personal risk to move in a new direction. The cosmic message here is to experience the reward from new opportunities. We must be willing to step out of our comfort zones, risk rejection and failure.  Comfort creates ease. Yet, comfort can build ruts that block our growth, expansion and happiness. We can stay too long in a relationship, a job and/or a living location. Decide. Then move on, secure in the knowledge that your choice is the right one.  When you do what is right for you, it is right for everyone else. Follow your bliss.
